Fubon Financial Holdings Announced that the Ex-dividend Date for Cash Dividends will Take Place on July 1 and the Payout Date will be on July 31
The base day for the distribution of shares will be set for stock dividends once the competent authority has approved the necessary procedures
Fubon Financial Holdings held its shareholders' meeting on June 13, 2025, where it was decided to distribute a cash dividend of NT$4.25 and a stock dividend of NT$0.25 per common share, resulting in a total dividend payout of NT$4.50. The company announced today (the 13th) that July 1 will be the ex-dividend date for the cash dividend, July 7 will serve as the base day for the cash dividend, and July 31 will be the payout date for the cash dividend. For year 2024, Fubon Financial Holdings will distribute cash dividends that include NT$4.25 per common share, approximately NT$2.74875 per share for Class A preferred stock, NT$2.16 per share for Class B preferred stock, and NT$1.8 per share for Class C preferred stock, all of which will be paid out on July 31.
In terms of stock dividend, due to the approval of the amendments to the articles of incorporation at the shareholders' meeting on June 13, the proposal must be submitted to the Banking Bureau and an application for registration change must be made to the Administration of Commerce, MOEA; subsequently, an application must be submitted to the Securities and Futures Bureau for the conversion of capital reserves into new shares, and after approval, the schedule for determining the base day for share distribution and related matters will be established.
Fubon Financial Holdings reported a net income of NT$150.82 billion for 2024, with earnings per share (EPS) of NT$10.77, making it the leading financial holding company in profitability and achieving the highest EPS for 16 consecutive years. The cash dividend distribution by Fubon Financial Holdings is based on a comprehensive assessment of overall profitability and the earnings submitted by its subsidiaries. This year, it plans to distribute a cash dividend of NT$4.25 per and a stock dividend of NT$0.25 per common share, totaling a dividend payout of NT$4.50. Both the total dividend and cash dividend have reached historic highs, with a total dividend payout ratio of 41.8%, maintaining a long-term stable balance in its dividend distribution objectives.
