Team Fubon is Dedicated to Supporting the World Masters Games 2025 in Taipei and New Taipei City! Fubon Financial Holdings Works Alongside its Employees to Actively Participate
The Competition Saw Participation from over 200 Employees, while nearly 100 Volunteers Rendered their Services for the Event, and more than a Hundred Individuals Aided in the Opening, all of which Reflected a Vibrant Atmosphere of Positivity
The "World Masters Games 2025 Taipei & New Taipei City" officially opened on May 17. Fubon Financial Holdings continues its long-standing support for sports by serving as the official sponsor of the event. Moreover, over 200 employees enthusiastically participated in the competition, while nearly 100 employees volunteered for the event, which demonstrates their commitment to supporting Taiwan's international events and city marketing.
On May 17, coinciding with the opening of the World Masters Games, Fubon Financial Holdings not only set up a support booth at the event, but also over 200 colleagues formed Team Fubon, which consists of both the representative and support teams. Together with the Fubon Angels and Fubon Braves mascot, we joined the opening parade of the World Masters Games to rally support for every participant!
Since 2021, Fubon Financial Holdings has outlined four key strategies—decarbonization, digitalization, empowerment, and connection—as part of its sustainable vision. A central focus of the empowerment strategy is the ongoing promotion of health-friendly activities for employees. The upcoming World Masters Games 2025 in Taipei and New Taipei City will see over 200 employees from Fubon Financial Holdings participating. The events include athletics, hammer throw, baseball and softball, orienteering, cycling, tennis, golf, and triathlon, among others. Fubon Financial Holdings also collaborated with its employee running club to conduct warm-up runs prior to the World Masters Games. In addition, we organized a nutrition seminar, inviting professional nutritionists and chefs to share insights on the science of sports nutrition, thereby actively promoting a healthy workplace and supporting sports culture.
In addition, Fubon Financial Holdings has recently established the "united in purpose" volunteer platform. The initial activity involves recruiting nearly a hundred employees to serve as volunteers during the "World Masters Games 2025 Taipei & New Taipei City" event. Their roles will include assisting athletes with on-site inquiries, providing transportation guidance, offering medical support, and facilitating the award ceremonies. The aim is to leverage corporate influence to promote sports tourism in Taiwan and contribute positively to society.
