FUBON Talks Collaborates with Employees to Explore Current Events and Trends

Inject new solutions for financial fraud prevention, treating customers fairly, sustainable operations, and AI development

To encourage employees to stimulate innovative thinking and deepen their identification with the brand spirit, Fubon Group held the 2025 FUBON Talks on May 14. This event was led by Daniel M. Tsai, Chairman of Fubon Group, and Richard M. Tsai, Chairman of Fubon Financial Holdings, bringing together colleagues from ten companies under the group. The discussions focused on key issues such as brand value, financial fraud prevention, treating customers fairly, sustainable operations, and AI development, proposing innovative solutions that demonstrate Fubon's innovative vitality and commitment to social care.

FUBON Talks is a significant annual internal event organized by the Fubon Group. Each year, Daniel M. Tsai, Chairman of Fubon Group, and Richard M. Tsai, Chairman of Fubon Financial Holdings, attend the selection process together. This year, we have the honor of inviting industry and academic experts to serve as judges: Sunny Lin, the founder and CEO of Social Enterprise Insights; Richard Fang, the Dean of the College of Sustainability and Innovation at Chinese Culture University; and Steven Tsai, the CEO of Unity Sustainability Services. In addition to hosting a grand physical event, we also provided a live online broadcast, which attracted over 5,400 viewers.

Daniel M. Tsai, Chairman of Fubon Group, stated that Fubon has been deeply rooted in Taiwan for 64 years and has consistently committed to sustainable management. He hopes that the various companies under the group will leverage their corporate influence and integrate the brand spirit of 'Be positive All possible' into their daily operations. Through the annual FUBON Talks, we invite teams and individuals from various companies in our group to take part. This event allows employees to be in the spotlight, present their innovative and diverse ideas, and collaboratively seek directions for individual, corporate, and societal advancement.

Richard M. Tsai, Chairman of Fubon Financial Holdings, stated that this year’s FUBON Talks will integrate the brand's core values of “integrity, sincerity, professionalism, and innovation" with four prominent topics: "financial fraud prevention, treating customers fairly, sustainable operations, and AI development." He hopes this initiative will encourage employees to pay attention to societal needs and deepen the brand's values in their respective fields of work. It is gratifying to observe that many colleagues have presented diverse ideas for AI applications and impressive proposals addressing these significant issues, showcasing the innovative spirit of Fubon employees.

It's worth noting that this year, FUBON Talks emphasized ‘starting from one's own work.’ Participants showcased diverse creativity, with many sharing how they use relevant tools to optimize workflows in the wave of AI, creating innovative opportunities for themselves and the company. In addition, colleagues shared how they integrate their professional skills to assist customers. Some identified as "guardians against fraud," dedicated to protecting customer's assets; others focused on "breaking language barriers to hear every voice," aiming for inclusive finance; and some set the goal of "professionally writing a sustainable insurance policy" to create win-win situations. Each real story reflects the positive impact Fubon colleagues hope to bring to customers and society.

FUBON Talks originated from the "Fubon Speech Competition," which has a history of over 30 years and attracts enthusiastic participation from colleagues across the group's various companies each year. This year, following internal preliminary selections and professional training within the companies, 10 outstanding individuals emerged from the personal category to take the stage; additionally, 3 teams were selected from 10 excellent groups in the team category to advance to the finals. After intense competition, the champions were awarded to the momo.com team "Peachy momo Green more more" for the team category and Liao Pin-Han from Kbro for the individual category. Furthermore, the popularity awards, as voted by group colleagues, included the Best Presentation Award going to Taipei Fubon Bank's Wang Yu-Yi, the Best Speech Award to Fubon Insurance's Wu Chen-Yu, and the Best Creativity Award to the momo.com team "Peachy momo Green more more."

In the future, Fubon Group will continue to uphold the brand spirit of "Be positive All possible". Through various creative platforms and events, we will work together with our employees to bring more positive possibilities to both the company and society!
