The Recruitment for the MA Program at the NTU Campus Expo Ends on March 31, Featuring the Broadest and Most Diverse Range of Industries

Fubon Financial Holdings has achieved remarkable business performance, with its net income exceeding NT$150 billion for the first time in 2024. Jerry Harn, President of Fubon Financial Holdings, emphasized that the company possesses the most extensive and varied financial services platform, viewing talent as its most critical asset. The company is dedicated to creating a supportive and happy workplace. It offers a range of benefits that surpass legal standards to care for employees and their families, such as NT$100,000 subsidy for each newborn, an annual childcare allowance of NT$24,000 for children under six, ten weeks of paid maternity leave, eight days of prenatal leave, and eight days of leave for accompanying childbirth. Furthermore, Fubon has implemented an employee stock ownership trust program, enabling participating employees to acquire shares of Fubon Financial Holdings with a 100% company match based on their job level. In 2025, this program will be fully upgraded, introducing new job grade tiers and adjusting contribution amounts accordingly. Currently, approximately 90% of the employees has engaged in the employee stock ownership trust program which allows them to become shareholders and partake in the company's achievements.

Jerry Harn mentioned that the highly anticipated Fubon MA program has officially progressed into its twenty-first phase this year, retaining the recruitment theme of "What’s your hashtag?" This initiative is open to individuals from all educational backgrounds, with the objective of attracting a diverse range of talent to the Fubon family. The Fubon MA Program provides a comprehensive array of resources that span banking, securities, and insurance sectors. Over the course of two years, participants can expect two promotion opportunities, with the possibility of achieving an annual salary of one million New Taiwan dollars in the first year. The program begins with a 1.5-month joint training period aimed at equipping talented individuals with essential financial knowledge and nurturing relationships among colleagues from various companies.

Over two decades of development, the Fubon MA program has yielded two significant outcomes: First, it offers abundant international experience opportunities, aligning with the vision of being "one of Asia’s first-class financial institutions." Fubon MA has actively participated in the evolution of the Asian international financial market, with numerous employees assigned to locations such as Singapore, Mainland China/Hong Kong, Vietnam, and South Korea. In recent years, several MAs from Taipei Fubon Bank have been dispatched to overseas branches following their training, where they manage corporate customers and engage in product development, financial transactions, and marketing, as well as wealth management. Second, the program provides a broad and diverse career platform, allowing Fubon MAs to transition between various roles, from strategic planning and product design in back-office operations to frontline business development. There are also opportunities for cross-company experiences, such as bank MAs moving to securities as financial traders, property insurance MAs transitioning to life insurance in digital development and planning, and financial holding’s MAs shifting to the bank as corporate finance project managers. This caters to the new generation of MAs seeking to challenge themselves and explore diverse career development paths.

The 2025 Fubon MA program offers positions across six key areas: corporate business, investment research and trading, data science, digital finance, management, and financial products. Today, alumni from the Fubon MA program participated in the Campus Expo at National Taiwan University, engaging with students to provide in-depth insights into the various MA roles and future development priorities. (1) Reserve corporate business professionals: There is a demand from Taipei Fubon Bank, Fubon Securities, and Fubon Futures. The focus is on cultivating financial professionals with industry analysis skills, international perspectives, and expertise in foreign business and trading, with some positions offering opportunities for overseas assignments. (2) Investment research and trading talent: Companies such as Fubon Life, Taipei Fubon Bank, Fubon Securities, Fubon Investment Trust, and Fubon Asset Management are seeking talent. Notably, Fubon Life is recruiting for overseas REIT stock research for the first time, concentrating on international real estate investment research. Fubon Asset Management is one of the few firms in the industry that trains newcomers and offers MA positions, aiming to develop fund managers or professional researchers with a comprehensive understanding of investment allocation. (3) Data science talent: This area has become increasingly popular in recent years, with demand from Fubon Financial Holdings, Taipei Fubon Bank, Fubon Life, and Fubon Securities. They are actively seeking individuals skilled in big data analysis and AI technologies to enhance marketing, risk management, and operational efficiency. (4) Digital finance talent: Fubon Life, Taipei Fubon Bank, Fubon Securities, and Fubon Futures are all looking to recruit in this area, focusing on the application of innovative technologies, including Fintech, digital marketing, and cross-channel management, providing ample development opportunities for emerging digital finance professionals. (5) Management talent: There is an expanded recruitment effort, with Fubon Financial Holdings, Fubon Life, Fubon Securities, Fubon Insurance, and overseas businesses continuing to cultivate management talent. The emphasis is on strategic development, planning, performance management, and comprehensive insurance operations, with cross-departmental rotations to nurture well-rounded management professionals. (6) Financial product talent: Taipei Fubon Bank and Fubon Securities are actively seeking professionals in financial products, with the bank increasing its demand for specialists in product design and marketing, while the securities firm looks for comprehensive product talent with capabilities in brokerage and wealth management strategy.

The Fubon Management Associate (MA) program is now accepting online applications from today until March 31. This recruitment is open to individuals with a university degree, regardless of their field of study. The selection process consists of several stages, including resume screening, group interviews, assessments of leadership potential and project presentations, followed by interviews with senior executives from various companies.
