Sustainability Achievements

Since 1998, Taipei Fubon Bank has been dedicated to financial education, hosting the "Budding Tycoon Money Management Camp" for over 20 years, training more than 7,600 students. The camp covers various aspects of finance, including saving, spending, income, investment, and sustainability, with the goal of helping children build a solid foundation in financial management while also enhancing their understanding of sustainability.

In 2024, the Budding Tycoon Money Management Camp provided 40 free courses, with a total of 562 students participated. Among these initiatives, Taipei Fubon Bank specifically organized special sessions for students from remote areas, hearing and speech-impaired students, economically disadvantaged children, special education students, and new immigrant families, with customized teaching materials. The Bank collaborated with professional third-party institutions and social welfare organizations for recruitment and promotion, thereby expanding its influence and enabling more children to access quality financial education.

To address the difficulties visually impaired customers face when signing documents, Taipei Fubon Bank collaborated with the Shuanglian Care for the Visually Impaired Foundation and Feng Hsin International Technology to create the "Signature Guide and Reading Aid." This compact, credit card-sized tool is available at all Taipei Fubon Bank branches across Taiwan and can be freely requested by visually impaired customers and organizations. Not only is it portable, but it also significantly improves the signing and reading experience for visually impaired individuals.

In 2024, 895 "Signature Guide and Reading Assistance Tools" were distributed to branches nationwide, and a total of 1,000 were donated to a disability organization. Additionally, Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) received 5,000 of these tools, which were provided free of charge to visually impaired individuals in Hong Kong for financial inclusion initiatives. Taipei Fubon Bank has also designed embossed "Brand Identification Stickers" for visually impaired customers to stick on the Bank's ATM cards and passbooks, so that they can distinguish the Bank's ATM cards and passbooks from those of other banks through touch. The brand identification stickers are placed at 179 branches nationwide and are available for free to customers in need.

Taipei Fubon Bank, in collaboration with MacKay Memorial Hospital, developed the "Abundant Life" board game, integrating financial knowledge, common fraud prevention strategies, and anti-financial exploitation awareness. The game also includes a cognitive assessment scale for dementia, combining education with entertainment. In 2024, 19 promotion sessions across community centers nationwide were held, attracting 1,015 elderly participants to engage with the "Abundant Life" board game.

To expand the influence of the "Abundant Life" board game and raise awareness of financial exploitation among older community members, Taipei Fubon Bank organized the Abundant Cup board game competition in 2024. The competition involved college student participation and integrated the game into curricula, allowing students to design teaching plans using "Abundant Life" board game to help the elderly improve their financial knowledge. This initiative promotes intergenerational learning between youth and the elderly. A total of 67 board game events were held, with 1,540 participants (including 528 students and 1,012 older individuals).
